19. Provide agriculture reading materials and access of agricultural information and technology to requesting clients through Farmers Information Technology System
Clients can avail reading materials on agriculture at the office through the Farmers Information Technology System facilities or FITS. The FITS is a project under Department of Agriculture-Agriculture Training Institute (DA-ATI) established at the office. This is to provide farmers and rural women with printed materials and access to information technology in agriculture. These include internet, printing and agriculture information research access right at the office. This is part of the objective of the government to modernize agriculture under RA 8435 and fulfill the mandate of the municipality under RA 7160.
