22. Application of Farmers Registration under Registry System of Basic Sector for Agriculture (RSBSA)

RA 7160 ensures policy support that the farmers will be given extension services and agri support and DILG MC 2012-119 requires all farmers of the country must be registered under the Registry System of Basic Sector for Agriculture (RSBSA) of the Department of Agriculture. This is to come up with a unified identification of farmers and profiling. The MAO will spearhead the registration within the municipality level and submit the forms to DARFO-10 for encoding to the system. The Individual forms will be signed by respective Barangay Chairpersons of the Client, Municipal Agriculture and Fishery Council President and the Municipal Agriculturist.
